Turmeric + Black Pepper = Inflammation Fighting POWERHOUSE 💥

Turmeric has LOADS of health benefits, but here are a handful of my favorites:

• The main active ingredient in Turmeric is Curcumin - Curcumin gives off powerful Anti-Inflammatory effects, while also serving as a strong Antioxidant.
• Additionally, Curcumin promotes production of a neural process called Brain-Derived Neurotrophic Factor (BDNF), which can increase growth of new neurons, can help to fight various degenerative processes in your brain, can improve overall brain function, and can even help improve some of the neurologic changes in those with depression!
• As if Curcumin wasn't already good enough, it may also be able to lower your risk of Heart Disease by improving the function of the part of your heart that lines your blood vessels.
• The anti-inflammatory properties of curcumin have been shown to help treat symptoms of arthritis.

Unfortunately, one "serving" of turmeric won't give you your daily dose of Curcumin. In order to experience the full effects that Turmeric/Curcumin have to offer, you can take a supplement to fill in the gaps! 😋
